"Wait... you MADE that?!"

It's a pretty nice feeling to share a beer with the people you care about. It's even better when it's homebrew.

If you are a brand new brewer with no prior knowledge or experience, this class is for you!

Class material will include the following:

  • The Basic Brewing Process: learn the process for both extract and all-grain brewing, as well as the available options for different equipment setups and packaging.
  • How to Read a Recipe: what does it mean when the recipe calls for a 60-minute hop addition? What if I need to substitute LME for DME (or vice versa)? What is dry hopping, and how long should I leave the hops in? All of these questions and more will be answered in this segment.
  • Grain Room Tour: learn the layout of our grain room, how to read a bin label, how to adjust the mill for your particular mashing setup and more!

Class will include a lecture, basic equipment demonstrations and a tour of our grain room. Staff will be available after class for further questions and to help you figure out how to move forward with your brewing journey.

When you're ready for more information, check out our Homebrew Essentials Plus (All-Grain) class, which includes more in-depth information on the brewing process, as well as a full all-grain brew demonstration!

- Pre-registration is required -

Tickets are refundable up to 48 hours prior to the start of class by emailing info@soundhomebrew.com.

Within 48 hours of the start of class, tickets will no longer be refunded, but may be transferred to a future Homebrewing Essentials Seminar.
