A German aroma hop from the hop growing region of the same name, is considered a noble hop in one school of thought. It has a slight woody character and has a cinnamon-like spiciness that is about halfway in intensity between Hallertauer Mittelfruh and Crystal. The most common hop among Dusseldorfer Altbiers.
